5" 2020-2026 Chevy Silverado 2500HD/3500HD Elite Lift Kit (w/Elka 2.5 Resi Shocks) by Cognito

The Cognito 210-P1292 Lift Kit is a complete suspension solution for Chevy Silverado 2500HD/3500HD 2WD & 4WD trucks. Engineered, manufactured, and assembled in the USA, this kit bundles premium Cognito components into a proven system designed to improve ride quality, steering durability, and overall performance — without the guesswork.

Up front, the SM Series Ball Joint Upper Control Arms correct ball joint angles in lifted applications and increase allowable droop travel for improved ride comfort and suspension performance. These boxed, welded sheet metal arms are powder coated semi-gloss black and include pre-installed maintenance-free ball joints and pivot bushings for straightforward installation.

To address the well-known GM steering wear issue, this kit includes Cognito’s patented Pitman and Idler Arm Support Kit (PISK). By stabilizing and properly supporting the center link, the PISK eliminates unwanted forward and rearward movement that leads to premature pitman arm, idler arm, and tire wear — fixing the root cause rather than masking it.

Rear lift is achieved using the included 3-inch cast steel lift blocks and heavy-duty zinc-plated U-bolts. Front ride height is set using forged Cognito torsion bar keys, designed for strength and durability while maintaining proper droop travel when adjusted correctly.

Damping duties are handled by Elka 2.5-inch reservoir shocks featuring Dual Speed Compression (DSC) adjustment. These high-performance shocks provide optimized damping characteristics for both on-road and off-road driving, delivering reduced vibration, improved handling stability, less front-end dive under braking, and better control when towing or hauling. The result is a smoother, more composed ride — especially over washboard terrain and square-edge impacts.
